(By cable). LIDDALL.—On September 28, 1939, at Palmerston North Public. Hospital, Jean Edna May, beloved wife of Benjamin Liddall, of 40 Gladstone Street, Feilding, and eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. T. McFarlane, of Cheltenham ; aged 22 years. At rest.
MAYER.—On September 28, 1930, Thomas Samuel, dearly loved husband of Caroline Mayer, Day's Bay; aged TO years.
PICKERING.—On September 27, 1939, at the Pahiatua Public Hospital, Thomas Pickering; aged 78 years.
ROBERTS.—On September 28, 1939, at St. George’s Hospital, Christchurch, George Sydney Roberts, of Leithfield, North Canterbury.
