Relations Of France And Spain
NEW YORK, September 26.
The Tangiers correspondent of the “New York Times” says that, owing to the anti-Bolshevik feeling of the natives in French and Spanish Morocco, the Russo-German Pact had the effect of confirming the Moorish peoples in their distrust of Germany. German propaganda had utterly failed among Moslems in Africa, and France therefore can anticipate cooperation from the Moors. Relations between France and Spain in Morocco are now more cordial than they have been for a long time. This is particularly due to Marshal Petain’s influence, and recognition of General Franco. General mobilization ar.d military precautions in French Morocco have been accomplished with notable success.
TASK OF FALANGE
BURGOS, September 26.
The Falange Council of 90 members, which has been charged with the task of reconstructing Spain, was sworn in during a Mass of the Holy Spirit.

Von Fritsch’s Funeral
When the body of General von Fritsch arrived in Berlin by train it was received with military honours and the coffin was carried by eight, officers. The body lay in state in the War Ministry. Field Marshal Goering delivered an oration at the funeral and laid !1 wreath on behalf of Herr Hitler. —By rad io.

BEIRUT, September 26. The Grand Mufti sent the following message to the Syrian High Commissioner: "Tlie Palestine Arabs will abstain from all acts which would impede France or reflect on her interest*”
