YACHTSMEN’S DUTY IN WARTIME
Tlie importance of yachtsmen supporting their clubs in wartime, and so obtainin'" training which would stand them in good stead if they were called to serve overseas, was mentioned by Mr. J. A. Barker, recently-elected commodore ot the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club, addressing the annual general meeting m Wellington on Tuesday night. Special committees were appointed to look after tlie craft of yachtemen called up in tlie country’s service. The yat’hU would, of course, be laid up during their owners’ absence.
