BUSINESS OF HOUSE
Outline To Be Given Today
An outline of the business to be done by Parliament before the end of the session is to be given by the ActingPrime Minister, Mr. Fraser, in the House of Representatives this afternoon. This was promised by Mr. Fraser last night, in replying to a suggestion made by the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Hamilton. A suggestion that the House might agree to urgency being taken for the War Expenses Bill and the Customs Acts Amendment Bill was made by Mr. Fraser when the House resumed after the tea adjournment. He said that if the House did not make reasonable progress that night it would have to sit far into tonight. Mr. Hamilton: If the Minister can give us the total business that he wants to do before the end of the session it would help us to plan. Mr. Fraser: I will undertake to do that at 2.30 o’clock tomorrow. Mr. Hamilton: We do not want to go on and find a lot more Bills coming on. Mr. Fraser: You are not.more tired of it than I am. The House agreed to urgency being accorded both measures.
