The reserves department of the Petone Borough Council was congratulated by the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society in a letter read at last night's council meeting ou its splendid stand of polyanthus at the society's recent show. The society's secretary, .Mr. Butler, stated that, credit was due to the reserves officer, Mr. A. E. Morgan, for staging the stand. The council’s gift of flowers realized £l/14/-.
