BOXING TOURNEY
A professional welterweight boxing contest between Billy Parris, 'Wellington, and Syd. Sloane. Australia, will take place in the Town Hall. Wellington, next Thursday night. ’The contest is scheduled for 12 three-minute rounds. Parris, by his aggressive methods, has established himself as a favourite with boxing fans throughout New Zealand. Sloane had a good boxing record in Australia before crossing tin- Tasman, and lu- will be right out to redeem the defeat be suffered in his first contest in the Dominion. Attractive amateur preliminaries have been arranged.
