MAORIS’ LOYALTY
By Telegraph—Press Association. WANGANUI, September 23. That the Maoris of Wanganui will support ’the Government’s defence policy was a decision reached at a meeting of representatives of the Wanganui tribe. The following resolution was carried unanimously and forwarded to the Minister of Defence by the M.P. for Western Maori, Mr. Ratana: ‘’That the Wanganui tribe fully supports the Government's defence policy in the present crisis, and offers whole-heartedly the services of its people tor aetivi - I'-'tice. and strongly urges that all Maoris sserve ju a sapajute p.uiL”
