Birdsong

THE birds go gaily Hying by, Wheeling and singing as on they fly. They like the sun mid the long summer days. Hear them singing their loud songs of praise; When spring time conies their nests they build. > Then their home with fluff is tilled. The eggs come next, and out of them come The mother’s pride, tier fluffy young. Lovely birds, so wild and free, Please keep on singing your songs to me. —Original by Merrymaker (11), Wellington.
