Dividend Kate Unchanged. By Telegraph—Press Assoeiatiou. DUNEDIN. August 25. The directors of the Milburn Dime and Cement Co., Idd., have recommended a final dividend of 5 per cent, for the half-year ended July 31, making St per cent, for the year, an unchanged rate.

Mount Morgan Production

Mount Morgan Ltd. yesterday cabled to the Stock Exchange Association the following production report for the tour weeks ended August 23: Ore mined, 68,279 tons; ore treated, sulphide 40,400 tons, oxide 29,590 tons. Sulphide mi l tailings retreated through oxide mill, 30,670 tons. Estimated production: Gold, oOOloz., copper, 258 tons, including 14 tons copper precipitation. During period 71 tous blister copper and 61 tous matte produced from concentrates.

Canterbury Potatoes Easier

By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, August 25. The local potato market is still quiet, with quotations, which are largely nominal, again easier on those ruling earlier in the week. Quotations in the city yesterday varied up to £l6 a ton on trucks, but the maximum price mentioned by most merchants was £l5. It is reported locally that the first shipment to be brought into New Zealand this season is landing at Auckland on September 1, and will consist of (X) tons, ot which 20 tons have been purchased by a Christchurch merchant. A further 1000 tons have been booked to land at Auckland on September 19, with other shipments of 120 tons landing on September o',) and 200 tons on October 16. Business in chaff is still very small, with quotations at. £ 1 a ton on trucks.
