SILVER WEDDING

Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Coates By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, August 4. A dinner party at their home at Matakohe, North Auckland, today marked the silver wedding celebrations of the Rt. Hon. aiql Mrs. J. G. Coates. They were married on the day that war was declared. Mrs. Coates was formerly Miss Marjorie Coles, daughter of Dr. Coles, London. The celebrations were attended by a large numtier of friends and relatives. Many presents and messages were received from all parts of the Dominion.
