Indications that there is little likelihood of any special permits being granted for racing and trotting clubs to raise ■funds for local centennial celebrations was given today bv the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. W. E. Parry, replying to a deputation. "It seems a bit. over the fence.’ said .Mr. Parry. "It is up to the business community to make their contributions toward the celebrations.’’
