The following mean closing rates on foreign exchanges were current today compared with those ruling on August 2:

On New Zealand Currency Basis

The Bank of New South Wales, Wellington quoted tliQ following rates for their purchases and sales of foreign exchange yesterday:— New Zealand Buying. Selling.
