Names Of Film's Leading Players Undisclosed
POINT is being made by the English producers of “The Four Just Men’’ of the faet that the they are not announcing the names of the players in the title roles, “because of the unusual theme.”
The story discloses the efforts made by the four just men to prevent a plot engineered for the destruction of the British Empire and the ingenious methods they adopt to carry out their precarious project. Their difficult duties necessitate many disguises and one of the four just men, who plays a distinguished actor in the film, undergoes several character changes. As a foreign secret police officer he rescues a colleague from a Central European political prison camp, just in time to prevent his execution. Disguised as a C.I.D. man, he interviews the wife of a Government official who has been discovered selling secrets to the enemy. Bespectacled and with greying hair, he poses as a water board inspector and plans the death of a leading politician, and finally gives an impersonation of the man they are determined to murder to save the country from ruin.
