RAILCAR DELAYED
Mechanical Trouble On Run From Taranaki One of tlie new standard type railears operated on the Wellington-New Plymouth service was delayed by mechanical trouble on the trip from Taranaki to Wellington last night. The car left New Plymouth al 3.-10 p.m., and was due to reach Wellington at. 11.-10 p.m., tmt. was held up for more than an hour by a breakdown between Ara-moho ami Marton. 'l’lte railcar was Ihr. IViniti. late leaving Marton. It. left Palmerston North at 11.15 p.m. and was expected to reach Wellington shortly after one o’clock this morning.
