TO ASSIST RESIDENTIAL NURSERY FUNDS

The members of the Berltampore branch of the Women’s National Reserve and their friends held an enjoyable gathering recently with the.object of raising funds for the redecorating of the Berhamporo ward at the Residential Nursery. There was an excellent attendance, in spite of the inclement weather. Mrs. Beales, president, received the guests. Games and competitions were held, and caused much, amusement. After the presentation of the prizes, which were donated by the committee, a home-made afternoon tea was served. The afternoon was both a social and a financial success, and was brought to a close by the singing of the National Anthem.
