Alexander Mines, Limited, report for tile week ending July 27: No. b level: Stoping in progress in north end, which sliows very little change. A start is being made to -work the south end also. Stapiug: Has been continued above No. 5 intermediate level, and the south stope has now been filled. The filling of the third stope is proceeding. In the leading stope in the north end the reef is verynarrow, and faulted. Operations in the intermediate drive ahead have been suspended until this leading stope proves the advisability of driving further north. .During the week SO tons of stone were sent to the battery
