PROPERTY LAW

Protection For Mortgagors “The object of the Bill is to give mortgagors protection against mortgagees exercising their 'power of sale without adequate notice 'being given,” said the Attorney-General, Mr. Mason, in moving the second reading of the Property Law Amendment Bill in the House ot Representatives yesterday. Mr. Mason said the majority of mortgagees usually gave adequate warning before exercising their rights, but it was necessary to have a clause protecting mortgagors. The Bill passed through the second reading and was referred to the Statutes Revision Committee.
