Nazi Organizations Under Germany MILITARY ACTIVITY CONTINUES ' Schools Converted To Barracks Bv Tcleijmph.—-Pre&s Assn.—Co pj* right. LONDON, July 27. The Danzig correspondent of the Associated Press of America states that all the Nazi defence organizations have been incorporated in the First Danzig Army, under East Prussian command, and are now part of the Reich army. The militarization of the city continues, and detachments with antitank guns are parading the streets. The school holidays have been prolonged, as the buildings are being used as barracks.
The Senate issued a decree depriving Jews of the power to administer business investments and land. This is a continuation of the policy of “Aryanizing” the Free City as a prelude to its return to the Reich. The Senate purchased and demolished the central Synagogue and Jewish cemeteries and properties. At present there are 4000 Jews in the city,' the majority of whom are trying to leave. The Polish Commissioner. M. Chodacki, has again sent a note to the Senate demanding the punishment of Nazis involved in last week’s frontier shooting incident.
