Forfeiture Of Chinese Silver ,
FURTHER PROGRESS MADE By Telegraph.—Press Assa.—Copyright. (Received July 29, 12.15 a.m.) TOKIO, July 28. The conference on the Tientsin dispute discussed today a demand by Japan for forfeiture of the Chinese silver bullion in the British concession. The discussions were adjourned to July 31 to allow consideration of the unsettled points. The Foreign Office spokesman said the conference was progressing smoothly in a friendly atmosphere.
