MONDAY’S WRESTLING

Wrestling in New Zealand this season haa an entirely new interest, for there are three Empire wrestlers here, two of whom have their eyes on the title held by the third. Frank Forster, the South African who would like the title held by Earl McCready, has given fine displays since his arrival at New Zealand, and these have earned for him the right to challenge first for McCready’s Empire title. The Wellington Wrestling Association has been fortunate in securing this bout, which will be staged in the Town Hail, Wellington, next. Monday night. McCready and Forster are ap excellent match physically as well as in other respects. Both are taller than flit, and weigh about 17 stone. Trained to the minute, they can maintain a fast pace over the whole distance no matter how gruelling the proceedings. Forster’s previous bout iu Wellington wns iigtunst Blomfield, and though outpointed toward the finish his performance was so goml that those who saw the match formed the opinion that Forster, allowed a better opportunity to find his land legs after Ins long journey, had it well within his province to beat the New Zealand champion. The preliminaries, which will begin at 8 o'clock, -will include two amateur bouto and a professional bout, between two Wellington wrestlers,
