TWO MEN INJURED

Motor-cycle Collides With Car Two waterside workers, Mr. J. Bentley, 6 Shannon Street, and Air. J. Dolan, 8 Alpha Street, Wellington, were injured when a motor-cycle collided with a car in Cable Street shortly before 5 p.m. yesterday. Mr. Bentley, the rider, received a fractured left leg and Mr. Dolan, who was on the pillion, received an injury to the left leg and injury to the head and ohoek. The motor-cycle which Mr. Bentley was riding south along Cable Street struck a car reversing into n doorway, skidded across the road and finished up partly underneath another ear parked by the kerb. The two men were taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. When he fell from his bicycle Wallace Campbell, 9 Brougham Drive, scholar, receiver! abrasions to the forehead and slight concussion. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance at 6.15 p.m. MrsP. M. Cassie, Barker Street, received bruises on the legs when struck by a car in Willis Street. She was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance at 5.30 p.m.

A fracture of the left ankle was received by Mr. K. W. France, fitter, Martin Street. Upper Unit, when he fell from a ladder nt General Motors. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance at 2.15 p.m. Mr. J. Phillips. 20 Torrens Terrace, labourer, received an injury to the left ankle when he slipped while working on Government housing construction in Ngaio. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance at 9 a.m.
