On the suggestion of Mr. A. J. Seed, the council of the Wellington Acclimatization Society agreed last night to contribute £5 for the provision of grain for the feeding of ducks at Kaplti. The council also supported a proposal for the transference of kiwis from Waverley to Kapiti, but decided to leave the question in the hands of the finance committee.
