RELIGIOUS SERVICES. CHRISTADELPHIANS J 0.0. F. HALL. ALLEN STREET. THE EIGHTH LECTURE of the series under the title of il TURNED UNTO FABLES” will be delivered (God willing), in the above ball on SUNDAY, AT 7 P.M.. when further evidence will be produced from the Scriptures to show that the erroneous doctrines of the Churches of Christendom literally fulfil the following prediction of the Apostle Paul: "THE TIME WILL COME WHEN THEY WILL NOT ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE . . . THEY SHALL TURN AWAY THEIR EARS FROM THE TRUTH AND SHALL BE TURNED UNTO FABLES.’’ (II Tim. 4:3-4. see also II Pet. 2:1-2, Luke 18:8, Isa. 60:2, Isa. 25:7, Jer. 16:19). The subject will be: — “THAT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WILL NOT PERSONALLY RETURN TO EARTH TO LITERALLY REIGN AS KING OVER ALL THE EARTH FROM DAVID’S THRONE RESTORED IN JERUSALEM—A FABLE.” In the course of this lecture evidence will be produced to show that notwithstanding Christendom’s repudiation the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus Christ will personally return to the earth to literally reign as universal King from the literal throne of David restored in Jerusalem. For proof such Scriptures as the following will be referred to: John 14:3. Acts 1:11. Acts 3:19-24. Eze. 21 :25-2 ( . Luke 1:31-33, Acts 2:30, Matt. 2:(>, Amos 9.11, Isa. 24:23, Jer. 3:17, Jer. 23:5, Zech. 1:16, Zech. 8:3, Zech. 9 :10, Zech. 14:9, Acts 17:31, Rev. 11:15, Rev. 19:15. Questions invited. No collection.
