Society’s Recognition The presentation of a framed certificate . was made to Miss Grace Sukroo, who saved the life of a lad who fell into the Hutt River on February 3. In the presence of more than 200 menu bers of the firm of W. L. and H. 0., Wills, Ltd., the .presentation waa made, by Mr. A. P. Reid, manager, at the fac~l tory of the firm, where Miss Sukroo is-, an employee.. Mr. Reid commended Miss Sukroo on her courageous act, and com--plimented her on being the recipient of' the Royal Humane Society’s award. Mr.. P. Cbira, representing the society, also offered congratulations, and spoke of the brave action of Miss Sukroo. The awards of the society were based entirely onl merit, and the framed certificate awarded was evidence that the courage of Miss! Sukroo was fully recognized and appreciated, he said.
