Misfortune For Madge Elliott

MADGE ELLIOTT—Mrs. Cyril Ritchard —the actress and dancer, gave birth to a son, who died later, in London on May 8. It was stated (hat she was “going on all right.” Miss Elliott first appeared on the stage at His Majesty’s Theatre, Sydney, New South .Wales, in 1912, in the ballet during the Melba grand opera season. Her first Loudon appearance was at the London Hippodrome in 1925 in “Better Days,” and was afterward in “Bubbly,” “Lady Luck,” “The Love Race" and other successes. She has been a favourite with New Zealand audiences.
