Mr. J. A. Nash has been elected the first life-member of the Palmerston North Bowling Club. The retiring president, Mr. E. Bary, moving that Mr Nash be elected the first life-member, said the club had been in existence for nearly 50 years; during that time Mr. Nash had worked not only for the betterment of the club, but for the betterment of the game generally. The Manawatu Centre, of which Mr. Nash was president, was conducted as well is, if not better than, any other centre in the Dominion.
