OMINOUS ACTIVITY IN SLOVAKIA
Report Of More Nazi Troop Movements (Independent Cable Service.) PRAGUE, June 19. Large numbers of' tanks, armoured cars, and transport wagons passed eastward at the weekend. German troops are concentrating on the Slovak border. It is reported that eight divisions are concentrated in the region of Ostrau, while German General Staff officers, all wearing civilian dress, are carrying out a military survey in north-east Slovakia, through which German troops would pass in the event of a conflict with Poland.
