Councillor’s Suggestion Dominion Special Service. WANGANUI, June 20. Or. S. J. Harris, at tonight's meeting of the Wanganui City Council, urged that an inquiry should be made as to the possibility of a broadcasting station being established in Wanganui. He said a broadcasting station would assist in placing Wanganui on the map, and he considered it would be a step in the right direction. 'The mayor, Mr. W. J. Rogers, said he would be prepared to discuss the matter with the M.P. for Wanganui. This was agreed to.
