ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

Lower Hutt Nursing Division The Lower Hutt Nursing Division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, recently compleli-d a successful first aid course. A series of interesting lectures was given, and on the final night members of the Petone division gave a demonstration showing the correct way of transporting a patient with slight or serious injuries. They also demonstrated artificial respiration. A home nursing class began in the Wesley Church Hall on Monday, June 12. and will la- continued for about six weeks on Monday evenings at 7.30 o'clock. Many of the members do valuable active service on the various sport;; grounds in Lower Hutt and Petone on Saturday afternoons.
