When he appeared iij the Magistrates Court, Wellington, yesterday, charged with his second offence of drunkenness within six mouths, Francis Patrick Mulligan, aged 43, pleaded guilty and was fined 10/-, in default 48 hours' jail, by Alr. J. L. Stout, S.M. Accused also admitted having committed mischief by willully breaking two saucers. On this charge he was also fined 10/-. "He is an old offender,” tsaid Sub-1 nspeetor D. J. O'Neill.
