‘‘The three needs of a schoolmaster are time, space’and money,” said Mr. F. B. Malim, who is visiting the Empire’s secondary schools and is in Christchurch when discussing the various changes that were being brousht about in the curriculum of modern schools. Mr. Malim was referring particularly to the breaking down of compulsory sports ami the effort Unit was being made to give boys the opportunity of taking their exercises In ways as congenial as possible to themselves.
