Like the previous choir, this ensemble of 20 sopranos and altos from the Mariahilf Basilica Choir in Vienna, a 300-year-old institution noted for its association with Josef Haydn, will present operettas in costume, sacred and secular works by the great Viennese composers from Mozart to Johann Strauss, and folk songs of all countries. Unlike their predecessors, however, these boys, who are conducted by Dr. Georg Geuber, will also sing in English. A complete change of programme will be presented on alternate nights.
