French And P. And O. Ships

HONG KONG, March 30.

The P. and O. Company’s ship Canton collided with the French ship Marechal Jolfre in a dense fog 60 miles northward of Hong Kong this morning.

No details are available, but it is understood that both ships are taking water and are returning to Hong Kong under their oim power.
