Men Who Escaped From Custody

Charged with escaping from custody in Greymouth, Herbert Thomas Raxworthy", aged 2-1, labourer, and Richard Charles Howell Green, alias Robert Blythe, aged 26, seaman, were each sentenced’to three months’ imprisonment. On a charge of converting a car each was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment. Green was also sentenced to three months’ imprisonment for converting a car in Christchurch, one month for theft, in Auckland, and three months for theft in Wainiliinihi. AH the sentences are to bo concurrent. On a charge of theft in Wellington, Green was remanded to appear there on April 6.
