Khandallah, represented by a four consisting of TV. J. Lonsdale, G. Sadil. J. B. Bailey and J. Rodger (s.), beat a Porirua four skipped by Hazlewood in the final of the Wellington returned soldiers’ bowls tournament, played in Johnsonville on Tuesday. The score -was 29-20. the twenty-first end not being played. EASTER TOURNAMENT Greens will be used for the Wellington Easter bowls tournament on the three days of section play as follows: —Section A: Wellington on Good Friday, Johnsonville on Easter Saturday. Kelbtfrn on Easter Monday. Section B: Johnsonville, Victoria. Island Bay. Sectmil .C . Hataitai, Seatoun, Khandallah. Section D: Karori, Kelburn, Hataitai. Section E: Thorndon, Khandallah, Victoria.
