Fair Demand For Lamb The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office as at elose of business last week: The market for wethers is weaker for heavyweights; lightweights remain steady. There is very little inquiry for ewes. The market is well supplied with lambs, and there is a fair demand. Smaller supplies of chilled b*ef have caused prices to harden. Wethers, light. 3 7-Sd. to 4 7-Sd. a lb.; heavy, 3d. to Ewes. 2d. to 3d. Lambs, 2’s. 7d. to 7 1-Sd.; B’s, 6 7-Sd. to 7d.; 4’s, 63d. to 6 7-Bd.; seconds. 6 5-Bd. to 6 7-Sd. Chilled binds, 4 1-Sd. to 4 5-Bd.; fores, 3}d. to 3Ad.
