TERRORISTS ROUTED

Battle With Arabs In Palestine JERUSALEM, March 12. A message from Amman states that the Transjordan frontier police, an Arab legion, and 15 Air Force planes routed a large body of uniformed Arab terrorists. The battle began yesterday and ended today. The British commander, Lieut.-Col-onel Chrystall, directed operations from an aeroplane, at which the terrorists fired, seriously wounding the pilot, Sergeant Coggins, who lauded safely. A British officer, 40 terrorists, and four Arab legionaries are reported to have been killed.
