Negligent Driving Causing Death By Telegraph-Press Association. INVERCARGILL, February 23. A fine of £4O and cancellation of his driver’s licence for twelve months was the penalty imposed by the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) on Walter Henderson, master carrier, of Winton, who was found guilty by a jury of negligently driving a motor-truck, thereby causing the death of Frank Anderson. His Honour said that if the prisoner had been travelling on his correct side the accident would not have happened.
