Film Company Works On Uninhabited Island

TJUGGED, verdant Santa Cruz Island, 40 miles off the coast of Southern California, was selected by Milton H. Bren, producer for the Hal Roach studios, as the site for the shooting of the forthcoming film “Captain Fury.” The island, uninhabited save for caretakers, was to be the home of the “Captain Fury” company for six weeks.
