RUSSIAN BALLET
Beauty And Grace , The Covent Garden Russian Baller, which concluded the performances of the first group of throe bullets ut the Grand Opera House, Wellington, last night, n-gain provided a capacity bouse with thrilling dancing of beauty and grace. The orchestra, under Antal Dorati, was responsible for much of the co-ordination of movement. Last night's ballets were “Carnaval,” “The Swan Laky, and “Cinderella,” in which David Lichine appeared in the afternoon as well, dancing the Prince for the first time wince leaving London. The second group of ballets, '.I be Gode Go A’Bcgging,” “Scheherazade,” and “Aurora’s Wedding,” will begin tonight, and will be presented also tomorrow night and on Saturday night. On Saturday afternoon, “Scheherazade,” will be replaced by “Senoia di • Ballo,” a ballet which can lie enjoyed by children as well as adults. On Monday night and on I’uesday afternoon and night, the third group. "Les Sylphides,” “Lee Presages,'' ami “Union Pacific,” will be performed; and tlie last group for the concluding two nights will include “Papillons,” “Seuoia <li Ballo.” and a ballet which will be chosen by popular request.
