Annual Meeting To Be Heid In Christchurch Dominion Special Service. CHRISTCHURCH, January 26 The anual meeting of the Senate of the University of New Zealand will, open in Christchurch ou Thursday, February 2. Visitors from Dunedin will include the Hon. J. A. Hanan, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Morrell, Dr and Mrs. W. Newlands, Professor and Mrs. It. J. T. Bell, Mr. L. Deans Ritehie, • tud Mrs. W. N. Benson. Mrs. Benson, wife of Professor Benson, was formerly Professor Gertrude Helen Rawson, Professor of Home Science and Dean of the Faculty of Home Science at Otago University. She was elected a member of the Senate a few months ago. Dr. Sylvia Chapman (Wellington) will attend the meeting, and other members from Wellington will be Professor T. A. Hunter, Professor G. W. von Zedlitz, Dr. Duncan Stout, Mr. F. A. de la Mare, Mr. L. J. Wild, Mr. P. Levi, Professor W. P. Evans. Mr. N. T. Lambourne.

Mr. lan .McKenzie. Registrar of the New Zealand University, will attend the meeting and will be accompanied to Christchurch by Mrs. McKenzie. Other members who will be present are Messrs. A. 11. Johnstone. K.C., W. 11. Cocker (Auckland) and Mr. S. N. Ziman (Waikato) a former Rhodes scholar. Christchurch members are Dr. E. J. Hight. Dr. H G. Denham, Messrs. E. J. Howard. A. E. Flower. H. D. Aciand, Norton Francis, and G. J. Smith.
