Mainly Fair To Fine, With Moderate But Rising Temperatures. Following is the weather report and forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, for the 24 hours ending at 3 p.m. today :— A depression centred near Chatham Island is moving south-eastward and pressure has risen over the Dominion. Condltons are disturbed in the western Tasman Sea. The forecast is for moderate to fresh south-westerly winds predominating at first, but gradually decreasing and becoming rather variable today. Seas slight to moderate. Light to moderate and variable winds with smooth to moderate seas in the eastern Tasman Sea. Some isolated local rains possible in most districts, but mainly fair to fine with moderate but rising temperatures.
