VISITORS ENTERTAINED
The national committee of the feminist journal. “Woman Today,” entertained at afternoon tea in James Smith’s tearooms yesterday, two women who are paying short visits to Wellington.
The guests of honour were Miss Alice J. Greville, of the District High School, Matamata, who is a member of the journal’s advisory board, and Mrs. George Parkyn, whose husband is the newly-appointed lecturer in education at the University of Otago. Among the hostesses were Mesdames M. L. McLean, E. Greeman, 8.A., B. Whyte. M. Chapman-Taylor, and Miss O. MclTardie.
