PICTON EXCURSION

Day excursions to Picton this season have been so popular that it has been decided that the Wahine will leave the steamer express wharf at 8 a.in.. and arrive at Pieton at about 10.30 o'clock on Saturday, February 11. -This has been specially arranged to fit in with the New Zealand amateur championship rowing regatta which will be he,d on Picton harbour. Because some people will wish to si. the raees at dose hand, the. small steamer Tuatea will follow the principal events. For those people who will be mainly bent on sightseeing, launches will make

cruises to a number of the beauty spots in Queen Charlotte Souud. and others who wish to go yet further afield will be entered for by a special train which will leave Picton Wharf for Blenheim after the arrival of the Wahine and will arrive back in time for the return trip which will begin at 2,30 o’clock. The Wahine should berth in Wellington a little after 1 o’clock.
