Mr. and Mrs. Chamberlain have returned to Loudon from Chequers, where they spent the weekend. Mr. Chamberlain later had consultations with Lord Halifax, Sir Samuel Hoare, Lord Inskip, Mr. Oliver Stanley and Mr. Malcolm MacDonald. The Leader of the Opposition, Mr. C.' R. Attlee, and Mr. Arthur Greenwood called on Mr. Chamberlain in the evening, when, it is understood, the Prime Minister gave them an account of iiis Rome visit,
