The yachting contest, for the Cornwell Cup, which has been in progress at Plimmerton for a week, but has been interfered with by wind and high seas, will be continued today if conditions permit. ' The chief interest in yachting on Wellington harbour today will be a teams race in centreboard boats between the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club and the Evans Bar Yacht and Motor Boat Club for the Blair Shield. The race will start off Point Jerningfiam at 3 p.m. There will also be club racing at Evans Bay and races for heelers and Idle Alongs at Port Nicholson.
