Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Parsons, Wanganui, are visiting Wellington for the races, and are staying at the Hotel Waterloo.
Mrs. J. W. Darby and Miss Kura Darby, New Plymouth, are visitors to Wellington.
Mrs. D. James and the Misses Juliet and Josephine James, Masterton, are visiting Wellington.
Mrs. Dudley Newbigin, Hastings, is paying a short visit to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Graham, Palmerston North, are visitors to Wellington.
Miss M. Murray, Palmerston North, is on a visit to Wellington. ~ On Holiday Mrs. K. B. Johnstone, Hataitai, Wellington, left by plane yesterday for a holiday in Nelson.
Miss Edna Anderson, New Plymouth, is spending a holiday in Stratford, together with her sister, Mrs. W. G. Liddell, Wellington.
Mrs. J. M. Earle and Miss Marjorie Earle, Lyall Bay, Wellington, are visiting Wanganui, where they are the guests of Mrs. J. J. .Pilkington.
Miss Flo Saddler, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. A. G. Mills, Sherival, Wanganui East.
Miss E. Lark, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. J. Kirwin, New Plymouth. Miss Helen Priest, Canterbury, is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. 11. D. Rob ? ertson, Wanganui. Miss Vera Allan and Miss Margaret Pearce, Hawera, are spending a holiday at the Portage, Marlborough Sounds. Dr. and Mrs. B. D. Hart, Porirua, are the guests of the latter’s father, Mr. O. A. Shiel, St. Clair, Dunedin. Mrs. Owen Taylor, Lower Hutt, is on a visit to Auckland. Mrs. W. G. Stead, Hastings, who has been spending a short holiday in Auckland, left yesterday for a fishing trip to Great Barrier Island. Miss M. Saunders, general secretary of the Y.W.O.A. in Palmerston North, is spending a 'holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Saunders, Dunedin.
Mrs. A. S. Clark, New Plymouth, who is in Palmerston North for the Dominion croquet tournament, will visit Wellington before returning home. Mrs. A. W. Horton and Miss Joyce Horton, Greytown, are spending a holiday in the South Island. Mrs. F. Willington, Masterton, is visiting Napier. Mrs. C. H. Weston, Wellington, who has spent several weeks’ holiday in New Plymouth, is now the guest of her daughter, Mrs. T. P. Shand, Kaikoura.
Mr. and Mrs. John Farrell, Auckland, who have been visiting Wellington, are at present in Christchurch and will leave for Dunedin tomorrow.
Mrs. Athol Millward, Wellington, will visit Christchurch next month for Miss Dorothy Robinson’s wedding. Mrs. T. Gollins, Hawera, is visiting her mother,’ Mrs. T. W. Twist, Plimmerton.
