POOR SEASON FOR APIARISTS
By Telegraph—Press Association. HAMILTON, January 20. Waikato apiarists are experiencing the worst season for 20 years. 'The absence of bright sunshine and continued spells of cold weather during December and early January have resulted iu a very light crop to date, and though by midJanuary usually half the crop is harvested, this, year work has not yet started. The late honey season has resulted in this year’s crop being of good quality, but an improvement in this direction will not compensate for the emaller quantity gathered. A local grower who han returned from au extensive tour expressed the opinion that similar conditions were being experienced throughout Hie Dominion.
