Scrambles For Sweets
Sir, —Replying to Hygiene 6 remarks concerning the sweet scramble at the w etlington City Council picnic on Tuesday, January 17, we wish, to assure the write that the health of the children was amply safeguarded by our committee. Not only were the sweets distributed, m bags but each sweet was individually wrapped. We might add that precautions were taken to see that apples -which were scrambled for were also wrapped.—l am.
