Green Howards Ambushed
JERUSALEM, December 15. A lance-corporal was killed and two privates wore wounded 'when the Green Howards were ambushed on the Nablus-Tulkarm road. Reinforcements inflicted serious casualties on the assailants. . Sheik El Ansari, a Moslem dignitary who rivals the Grand Mufti, was shot dead by an Arab.
